Noel reflects on years of surfboard reviews, noting how the S Boss reminds him of previous Kelly Slater designs with a fresh twist. Ian from Wooly TV surfed the S Boss in shoulder-high to overhead waves, finding it excelled as a Thruster with medium neutral fins for its round tail shape. While it struggled in smaller, weaker waves, Ian appreciated its power and control in bigger surf. 

Eric, however, found the S Boss surprisingly adept in the smaller waves of North Florida. The wider nose helped generate speed through flat spots, while the pulled-in tail provided sharp maneuverability, making it perfect for carving and hitting the lip.
