In this episode, Noel and friends put the S Boss by Slater Designs to the test at Waco Surf, Western Australia, and the mushy waves of North Florida, uncovering its unique performance across different conditions.

Noel reflects on years of surfboard reviews, noting how the S Boss reminds him of previous Kelly Slater designs with a fresh twist. With unique bottom contours shaped by Dan Mann and Kelly, the S Boss blends features from past boards and more. After thorough testing at Waco Surf, Noel shares his insights, preferring the Quad fin setup for added speed, drive, and smoother turns, while still enjoying the Pivot Twin + Trailer fin combo.

Ian from Wooly TV surfed the S Boss in shoulder-high to overhead waves, finding it excelled as a Thruster with medium neutral fins for its round tail shape. While it struggled in smaller, weaker waves, Ian appreciated its power and control in bigger surf.

Eric, however, found the S Boss surprisingly adept in the smaller waves of North Florida. The wider nose helped generate speed through flat spots, while the pulled-in tail provided sharp maneuverability, making it perfect for carving and hitting the lip.

One thing all agree on: the S Boss thrives on rail and loves to carve. Grab your favorite drink, sit back, and watch the full episode to see the S Boss in action and hear the detailed breakdown from the team!
