Momentum Series - 5 Fin Set (MS-N + MS-QDP Pivot Quad Rears Template)
The MS-QDP Quad Rears (Pivot Template): The MS-QDP offers excellent drive with their large base and quick pivot due to its upright template. The tips are a bit more refined (narrow) to get a little extra release at the peak of your turns. Couple the MS-QDP Quad Rears with the MS-N side fins for more drive, release, and tighter turns in the pocket.
For Surfers: (63.5 – 99.79 Kg / 140 - 220 lbs)
• Large Fin Base (maximum drive)
• Medium Fin Depth (loose and responsive)
• Narrow Tip (for release)
• Tighter Turning Radius
• Top to Bottom Surfing
• Quad Rears
• Pair with MS-N Side Fins
The MS-N Thruster (Neutral Template): The MS-N is the perfect balance of carving and pivot. You can enhance the drive with your favorite performance board, or pair them with your favorite groveler for a little extra pivot to offset its low rocker design. Couple the MS-N side fins with the MS-QDP Quad Rears for excellent speed, drive, and pivot.

MS Concept
What sparked the idea of creating my own fin designs? After rigorous testing of so many fin templates over the last 5 years, I began researching specifically how the smallest detail would change the feel of a board. I compared fin after fin, but I could never find the combination of what I was looking for.
Most fin companies suggest a medium fin for my weight (160 lbs.). However, I have been riding a large fin for years. Why? I am looking for something specific. The more resistance I feel from a large fin base enables me to push harder and generate more speed through turns. However, the large fin goes deeper into the water producing more drag, (equaling less speed) and makes my board feel tight and less agile on the wave face.
So, my concept is hybridizing a Large fin base with a Medium fin depth.
The large fin base offers excellent resistance for surfers who like to push hard through turns for maximum drive. The medium fin depth enables surfers to retain the speed they generate through turns with less drag, keeping the board fast and loose.
“The Momentum Series Fin designs are my interpretation of fast and loose with maximum drive through turns.”

Construction
Naked Viking “APEX Series” fins are made with a high strength fiberglass called G10 which is made by compressing layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin. We machine foil each fin to insure the highest performance of any fin available, regardless of the materials used. These are stronger, thinner, lighter and sexier. most similar feel to glass on fins.
