In this episode, Noel and friends dive into the Lost "Ripper" featuring Light Speed and Black Dart technology. They kick things off with a bit of history, where Noel shares the origins of the Ripper, tracing it back to the Rad Ripper. With its 80’s vibe, the Rad Ripper had a flat deck, pinched rails, beak nose, and a fluted wing for added performance off the tail. The updated Ripper, however, brings a modernized feel with a more foamy middle section, softened rails, a more refined nose, and a subtle bump replacing the fluted wing. According to Noel, these updates really smooth out the board's performance.

After 10-12 hours of testing at Waco Surf, Noel explains how different fin setups and board constructions influenced the ride, detailing what worked best for him. The episode then flows into a session in Southern California, where Eddie Lester puts the Ripper to the test, calling it the best So Cal performance board he's ever ridden from the Lost lineup.

As the episode progresses, Stefan and Asa push the limits at Waco Surf with various fin setups in both constructions of the Ripper. Watch the full episode to see what each surfer has to say about their favorite fin setups and how they dialed in the Ripper to fit their style.
