In this episode Nate Yeomans joins me in breaking down the Lost “Evil Twin” for review.

The Evil Twin is a good time. Multiple fin setup options like twin fin, twin fin + trailer (2+1), single fin, single fin + side bites, and thruster. Each of these fin setups offer a different sensation under foot and they draw their own unique lines.

I spent the majority of my time riding the Evil Twin purely as a twin fin with no trailer and it did NOT disappoint. The board was very fast and responsive and I enjoyed it in 1-5’ surf.

I also rode it a bunch with a 2+1 setup which offered more stability and better pivot from the small trailer fin the board comes with.

I surfed one session on the Evil Twin with the 6.5” Single Fin that comes with the board. I found the board to be a bit tighter and slower compared to the twin fin and 2+1 setup. I also need to mention that the single fin session was my first time ever riding a single fin. I am intrigued with the different feel underfoot the single fin offered and I hope to get a few more session on it this Summer.

Nate Yeomans on the other hand was ripping hard on the Evil Twin with the 2+1 setup and single fin option. He mentioned that he enjoyed the Evil Twin most with the 2+1 setup using the T1’s by Futures Fins along with the custom trailer that comes with the board when purchased.

My twin fins of choice for the Evil Twin are below.
