After rigorous testing of so many fin templates over the last 5 years, I began researching specifically how the smallest detail would change the feel of a board. I compared fin after fin, but I could never find the combination of what I was looking for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost fin companies suggest a medium fin for my weight (160 lbs.). However, I have been riding a large fin for years. Why? I am looking for something specific. The more resistance I feel from a large fin base enables me to push harder and generate more speed through turns.
